Old neighbourhood

old lovers buckling and unbuckling

old lovers buckling and unbuckling

In the fourth instalment of our collaboration with Sarah Teal Axelrod, we find ourselves back in the "old neighbourhood." Through Sarah’s lens, the familiar sounds of domestic life, the chirp of cicadas and the creak of swings give way to the winds of change and transition.

This installation captures the visceral shift from a home filled with life to one marked by the "ink black" reality of endings. It is a quiet, haunting look at how the landscapes of our past continue after we have left them behind.
